Ride The Wilds ATV Trail System
Gear up for one of the largest ATV trail systems in the world and it’s all in our backyard! Ride the Wilds offers over 1000 miles of connected and pristine ATV trail systems located in the Great North Woods. When you arrive at Bear Rock Suites you’ll find plenty of parking for your ATV trailers. Now it’s time to unload your ATV/UTV’s and get ready for some of the best ATV riding of your life! Ride the Wilds offers a variety of trails like beautiful views of rolling green hills with old New England style barns, ride on top of a 100’ water fall called Beaver Brook Falls or just ride miles and miles of old woods roads as well as small trails winding throughout the Great North Woods. If mud is what you seek then we’ve got it! These trail systems have been designed to accommodate from young to old. Hiking in the Great North woods
If hiking is your thing then we have your ticket! Only an 8 minute drive to the Balsams Grand Resort Hotel and you’re in some of the best hiking trails of your life! Thousands of people throughout the years have hiked to the top of Table Rock for some of the best views in the world! The Balsams offers breathe taking views of the North Country with many places to hike for the Intermediate to the novice hiker. To the west you can hike Manadnock Mountain located in VT just a mile from Colebrook. This mountain features a one of a kind prize for the hikers who make the 2.5 hour climb to the top. Your prize is an old Ranger Tower built back in the 30s and 40s. Daring souls have been known to climb this tower at their own risk so beware!

Golfing: Play one of the Great North Woods’ best kept secrets!
This beautiful 60-acre golf course is 9 holes, 2891 yards, and boasts a par 6 on hole #5 with 612 yards. Some of the tee boxes are different on the back nine, lending the feel of an 18 hole course. Colebrook Country Club is open to the public. We offer annual memberships, as well as daily fee play. Tee times are first-come, first-served, so you may want to call ahead or check out our tournament schedule.

Moose Watching
The North Country boasts more Moose than anywhere else in the in the Northeast. Just ask us and we’ll guide you in the right direction to view these magnificent animals in there wild habitat.
